Reworking the structure of a front porch

The work involved a mixture of building work (shoring up a porch with acrow props, removing posts), replacing posts with gallows brackets (which MJ constructed onsite to match style in situ), new facia and guttering, levelling the porch ceiling which was previously at two levels, and making good. MJ did a good very good job, all within one day, with the help of his step-son. He was polite, he regularly engaged with us and checked all was as we needed it to be, and left the site in good order when finished.

Fitting all new doors through our house.

MJ and his team did a fantastic job replacing all of our doors in our new house. Everything form the advise when scoping out the work to carrying out was done on a very high level. Would highly recommend!

Fire doors

Excellent work

Made ready for painting the architrave and hung 8 new doors.

Mark came with his two sons. They were all very professional and friendly. They arrived early morning and did a full days work. They also before they left hoovered and cleaned up. I am very pleased with the work they have done for us.

A job well done

MJ hung my very large picture today and did an excellent job. I had to play musical chairs with some other pictures and he very kindly carried out the swaps for me and did not up the price. Excellent, tidy workmanship and good advice given. I would definitely recommend and will be keeping his number for future jobs.

New internal woodwork

We are delighted with our new internal woodwork. MJ and sons fitted new internal doors, architraves and skirting boards throughout our apartment. They were skilled, friendly, punctual and happy to answer any questions. They left our apartment and communal areas immaculate! We would definitely recommend and use MJ and sons carpentry again.

Glass banister, handrail and closed stair stringer

Amazing workmanship. It was tricky job as nothing in my house is straight (old building) and he made it look perfect. Offered really good advice. Went above and beyond to finish the project. I am really pleased and would highly recommend him. Polite, tidy, efficient and a skilled person.

Large window board replacement

Excellent craftsmanship, excellent communication and dedication. Very pleased with the work done. The job was more difficult than originally thought but Mj did all that was necessary and managed to get it done even when this meant more time and effort.

Internal doors with locks fitting

I have had 3 doors fitted in my flat by Mj and Sons. They were very professional and quick to complete the job. Not to mention very very polite, honest and welcoming to be around! Kept the working area tidy and left without a trace of mess. The doors look beautiful and work perfectly. Don’t hesitate. 5 out of 5 stars
